Poster exhibition of Hackathon I challenges online and onsite

1. Poster Exhibition on The University of Vaasa Campus: DEI4SME Hackathon I Challenges & Insights

Welcome to the DEI4SME Hackathon I (Finland & Online) poster exhibition that presents wonderful companies - Finvacon Ltd, Foamit, Technology Centre Merinova Oy, AddSearch, DIMECC Oy, Consulting4Future, Amplon, T.I.P.S, Top Training, Hausmasters - who are DEI leaders (yet they do rather than talk about DEI) and the interesting case challenges that they prepared for the hackathon.

Posters also present already existing solutions for various practical aspects of diversity, equity, and inclusion that businesses need to consider when making their strategy, implementing it, their human resources, or designing a product or service.

The exhibition will be available February 4-20, 2025 in the Ankkuri building at the University of Vaasa campus in Vaasa.

We are also grateful to associations - ETNO (Advisory Board for Ethnic Relations Etno), Mira International Culture Society, Bloom Ry - who are working on representing diverse groups in Finland and who joined us in the awareness raising effort of this exhibition.

2. Poster Exhibition Online: DEI4SME Hackathon I Challenges & Insights

Not everyone will make it to the poster exhibition held on February 4-20, 2025 at the University of Vaasa campus in Finland no matter how beautiful the University's campus is! That is why, we want to make sure that you can visit DEI4SME Poster exhibition with Hackathon I challenges and insights on various solutions of diversity, equity, and inclusion in businesses by bringing it online!

Click on the poster below to extend the view and visit the exhibition virtually! Welcome!

These challenges have been presented to participants of the DEI4SME Hackathon I (Finland & Online). They showcase the practical issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in business, particularly in the context of smaller enterprises (SMEs). Solving these challenges during the hackathon and incorporating them into the upcoming teaching cases contribute to the development of skills necessary for building socially sustainable businesses in Europe and beyond, also supports the implementation of the UN SDGs 8 and 10.
