Amplon, a cutting-edge software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for strategy making and implementation, offers a challenge for the participants of the DEI4SME Hackathon I (Finland & online, February 2025) on how to “use DEI to support SMEs' growth and strategy”. This case will invite hackathon participants to reflect on practical questions of diversity and inclusion in the context of digital business.

While Amplon has already mastered cultural and language diversity in its company management and international operations, the company does not stop here. Amplon’s challenge will allow hackathon participants to reflect on questions of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that are typically overlooked and not considered at all in digital business, but are central to ensure SMEs strategic and growth potential as well as benefits for the firm’s customers.

Amplon’s participation in the DEI4SME Hackathon I (Finland) offers an exciting opportunity for participants to contribute to solving a challenge which aligns innovation with inclusivity. Hackathon I participants will engage with Amplon’s management and mentors to address this real-world problem, creating opportunities for impactful change in how technology empowers diversity.

The Amplon’s challenge will be presented in the opening event on February 4th, 2025.
