We are proud to introduce the distinguished members of the DEI4SME Hackathon II International Evaluation Committee – a diverse group of professionals committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in business and beyond.

Committee Members

Ms. Giedrė Vaitiekūnaitė-Urbanovič
Founder and CEO of HR Hint Online, and founder of HR Club and HR Academy in Lithuania. A well-known expert in human resources management, Giedrė advocates for sustainable and high-quality HR practices that lead to better organizational results and happier people at work. She is also the author of “The HR Manager’s Journey. With Ease” – a book on HR management and personal development.

Dr. Jurgita Butkevičienė
Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability and DEI4SME Project Manager at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). Her background in volunteer work with underrepresented groups and leadership in international women’s networks inspired her active involvement in DEI-focused research and education. She is passionate about building inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Mr. Karolis Skebas
A dynamic project manager with expertise in sales, business development, and international collaboration across industries such as IT, finance, and manufacturing. Karolis brings a results-driven mindset to managing complex projects and fostering strategic partnerships.

Mr. Tadas Vilkas
Project Manager at Skaylink Lithuania and representative of the Manager Clubs at the Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. With over 20 years of experience in IT and a strong interest in new technologies, Tadas brings both practical insight and innovative thinking.

Ms. Silvia Rodriguez
Sustainability and ESG Lead at Avia Solutions Group. Silvia has a background as a sustainability consultant and auditor, with expertise in legal frameworks, business strategy, and environmental management. She also holds specialized training in DEI and is dedicated to embedding inclusivity within ESG strategies.

Mr. Karolis Navickas
A leader in sustainability with experience across startups, consultancies, and public sector roles. As co-founder and CEO of a modular construction startup, he developed an Energy Star-certified housing solution. He holds an MBA from the University of Hong Kong and Columbia University and is a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum.

Dr. Emil Velinov
Associate Professor at Newton University (Czech Republic) and Adjunct Associate Professor at RISEBA University (Latvia), Associate Professor at DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen (Germany). He is an active member of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and the European Academy of International Business (EIBA). His research covers virtual learning, diversity management, and CSR. He has received multiple awards for his academic contributions.

Mr. Karl Daniel Klee
National Expert in training and education at IHK-Projektgesellschaft Ostbrandenburg (Germany). Karl brings extensive experience in international cooperation and bilateral partnerships, and will contribute to team evaluation and the final selection process in Lithuania.

Ms. Anna-Carina Mohrholz
An international project manager passionate about helping SMEs become future-ready. She develops innovative ideas and concepts for sustainability and inclusion. Known for her creativity, commitment, and communicative energy, Anna-Carina believes in building a fairer, more sustainable world for all.

Ms. Christine Meier
Project Manager working on sustainability-focused initiatives for SMEs, with a strong interest in soft skills and youth career orientation. Christine actively supports impactful projects and is driven by purpose and connection.

Ms. Dorothea Möckel
Experienced project administrator at IHK Projekt Gesellschaft, Dorothea has contributed to multiple European projects in VET and mobility, such as MobilityExcellence (ECVET), Valiskills, and JobtoStay. She also has experience coordinating double degree Master’s programmes and implementing ECTS in higher education institutions.
