Helena Cobo Arevalo, PhD. Candidate at Vienna University of Economics and Business, Research Institute for Supply Chain Management. The case was also reviewed by industry professional Giedrė Vaitiekūnaitė-Urbanovič, „HR Hint Online“ owner and manager and „OVC Consulting“ partner and member of the board. She said:
"In my view, this is a relevant and realistic case that would work very well in a training context. It clearly captures a common managerial dilemma: how to respond when an employee’s performance temporarily declines, while respecting their privacy and balancing the needs of the individual, the team, and the business. I particularly appreciate that employee support is presented not only as a matter of empathy, but also as a meaningful investment in talent retention and long-term organizational resilience."
