DEI4SME Hackathons

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You are welcome to join two hackathons on managing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The hackathons will take place February-March 2025 and will be organised in hybrid format, so your team can join from anywhere in the world! Both events are free of charge. Certificate of participation is issued to all the participants and there will be prizes for the winning teams.

Hackathon I

Theme:
Promoting the inclusion of diverse groups in the internationalisation of SMEs

Schedule:
Live hybrid opening event: February 4
Online work: February 5 - 13
Voting/evaluation: February 14 - 17
Live hybrid closing event: February 19

Hackathon II

DEI challenges in exporting SMEs

Schedule
Live hybrid opening event: March 14
Online work: March 15 - 24
Voting/evaluation: March 25 - 27
Live hybrid closing event: March 28

Lithuania and online

February 28, 2025

How to participate:

Form a team of 4-5 students
Register your team here on the www.dei4sme.eu/hackathons website
Be curious about solving DEI-related challenges
Actively participate in the upcoming even online or onsite
Enjoy the knowledge sharing with companies and peers

The best solutions from the hackathon will be featured in the teaching cases and course materials to be published by the DEI4SME project. Thus, your solutions created in the hackathon will continue making impact in the entire Europe, helping developing skills in social sustainability and DEI in particular.
